Booklists

Read Up On It! --Read Up On It is a publication that promotes Canadian children’s literature and reading. It highlights notable books on a given theme, and features award-winning, Canadian children’s books in all categories. The publication is offered free from Library and Archives Canada. You can access the booklists online, or request a print copy to be sent to you. The 2009 theme is: Ice Floes and Frost. Booklists from previous years are also available and include themes such as: Aboriginal Stories, Poetry, Multiculturalism, Science Fiction & Fantasy, etc. These are a great resource that are available every fall.
